About the Artist
Renee' Edmonston is a visual artist, graphic designer, and 4th - 8th art teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Communications.
For over 20 years, Edmonston Studios has been representative of Renee's passion and love for art. Her favorite artist is Picasso simply because his form of expression was like no other. Renee' strongly values the theory of to dare to be different in the creative process.
Renee' has sold her works of art in various forms worldwide for over 20 years. In 2013, Renee’s hand-painted cookies won First Place in the Great American Cake Show. For her winning submission, she recreated characters from the Nightmare Before Christmas. She has a passion for miniatures as well and has created hundreds of miniature paintings and a large collection of miniature scenes throughout her art career and has participated in shows throughout the US.
Along with multiple freelance design and fine arts projects, Renee’ has worked for Universal Studios Orlando, The Nassal Company, Meltzer Group, Montverde Academy, and Loudoun Country Day School.
In her free time, Renee’ enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, working on her miniatures, baking, golfing and quiet time at the beach. She has a great sense of humor and love for life.
